i love the coming of fall.

the air seems, well, more fresh.

best time of the year, in my opinion.

in a recent article in national geographic, redheads are projected to be extinct within 100 years. we make up about 2% of the population, our genetic roots stemming from a European genetic mutation several thousand years ago. but soon, says national geographic, there will be no more! ah! my breed is dying!

save the redheads.

so these past few days after the wisdom teeth surgery, i have been (from the neck up and in chronological order) puking, sore, swollen, bruised, and now this yellow-y color, and always a bit puffy. things are looking better today however, but only after i decided it was would be timely to renew my drivers license. little did i know that they would require me and my face for a new id picture. sick, sick irony of my life; walking into the dmv in my current recuperation state and now i will be stuck with that chipmunk cheeks picture for at least four years when my license needs to be renewed again. wonderful.

back to huntington tomorrow. it's about time.

because the bro and i are getting our wisdom teeth out tomorrow, we decided on an adequate theme of entertainment during our joint recooperation period. the theme is: trilogies. so, after the teeth are out, the drugs are in and plenty-o-drugs at our disposal we also will be watching these epic film trilogies:

-star wars (IV, V, VI)
-the terminator(s)
-back to the future(s)
-austin powers (international man of mystery, the spy who shagged me, goldmember)
-indiana jones (raiders of the lost arc, temple of doom, the last crusade)
-rush hour (but only 1 and 2, as the 3rd is still in theatres)
-the mighty ducks(s)

i do hope we get through them all, i'm preparing for the worst though. and when i say "the worst" i mean the best movie watching marathon of all time. no seriously, bring it on.

*note* obviously we couldn't pick all the trilogies ever and watch them this week. we had a decent list at the beginning, but decided we had to cut back to this final list. beleive me, in the original list, i wanted all the "land before time" films even though it's a bit more than a trilogy. more like a 17-ogy, so joshy nixed that idea.
